RESEARCH

There is close co-operation between CTCMPC and Beijing Capital University of Medical Science on research projects. At the same time, arrangements have been made with the Shanghai Tuo-Pu Region Hospital to share some research projects. Topics of our research projects include the combined use of TCM and Western Medicine in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases and cancers, TCM in the treatment of diabetes, and the application of acupuncture in the treatment of digestive system disorders, and for cosmetic and weight loss purposes.

PUBLICATIONS

The Chinese version "Health Magazine" is published monthly by CTCMPC, and distributed in Chinese communities in Toronto to promote TCM and Acupuncture, and general knowledge on medical and health issues. The preparation work on the English version "CTCMPC Journal" on the latest developments on TCM clinical practice, teaching and research in Canada and other parts of the world is about to be completed.
