The Ontario Clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine Exam will be held at the Exam Center of the University of Toronto on May 28, 2012 and June 23, 2012.

The Ontario Clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine Exam, held by the Ontario Acupuncture Examination Committee will be held on May 26, 2012 and June 23, 2012 at the Exam Center of the University of Toronto.

The Ontario Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Exam in Ontario started with the help of the Ontario Ministry of Health in 1999, and ever since November 1999 it was held annually.  After 2008 it changed to once every two years. Acupuncture examinations include the "Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine” “Diagnostics of Chinese Medicine” “Acupuncture Acupoints Meridian," “Acupuncture and Moxibustion "and "Acupuncture Therapy Aspects,” etc. Ontario Chinese acupuncture examinations are designed to ensure that Chinese acupuncture practitioners provide patients with professional, safe and effective acupuncture treatment.   Acupuncture examinations are also the evidence  for Chinese Medicine Practitioners Association of Canada to its members to supply the acupunctural insurance.

In 2008, the Ontario Acupuncture Examination Committee added the “Acupuncture Operation Exam” which is now North America’s most professional operation exam. In order to further strengthen management, the Ontario Acupuncture Examination Committee launched a Chinese medicine clinical exam this year that includes two parts: the Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Basics” and “Traditional Chinese Medicine clinical subjects” providing a guarantee for society with professional Chinese medicine practitioners.
